Supporting IxD team members in the delivery of UCD throughout the apprenticeship services. Working closely with stakeholders and other leads to manage resources. Providing support and training on the GOV.UK prototyping kit along with other IxD tools to support the service. Supporting across delivery teams in the delivery of interaction design services.
Working closely with Cambridge University Press to support on the development of their online reader app. Help identify and prioritise UX journeys and propose tactical solutions based on user needs.
Designed a payment simplification solution as part of the apprenticeship service. Creating designs in line with GDS and web standards and engaging with a multidisciplinary team to simplify complex requirements.
Detailed audit of the Universal Credit Design System against GOV.UK Design System and cross government interaction design patterns and standards. Proposed recommendations for improvement and reported findings in stakeholder presentation, workshop and final report.
Read case study for Department for Work and PensionsCross-cutting role to deliver over 100 page iterations at pace, impacting millions of users a day throughout the Covid-19 omicron outbreak. Translated complex business requirements and policy into digital journeys that met the needs of users, ensuring accessibility and inclusive design throughout. Created prototypes with code using the GOV.UK prototyping kit for usability testing. Ran ideation sessions and stakeholder engagement workshops.
